What licences does Devtrans hold, and why do they matter on the US trades?

The company was founded in 2005. It holds a first-class Chinese international freight forwarding licence and an NVOCC licence, is registered with the US FMC, and files AMS and ISF with its own team rather than through a third party. On the industry side it is a member of the China International Freight Forwarders Association, the International Logistics Supplier Alliance and the Ningbo Trade Federation, an Alibaba third-party service provider, a member and vice-president unit of the Ningbo Tianyi Chamber of Commerce, a founding member of ISEA, and a Jincheng member. These are not decorative on the US trades: FMC registration governs whether a party may issue a bill of lading as carrier, AMS is the manifest filing that must go out before the vessel sails, and ISF is the security filing due before import. If any of those is filed by an unlicensed intermediary, responsibility and penalties become muddy when something is wrong, and the cargo is likelier to be pulled for examination.
