Trade Setup
A US entity that can receive goods, invoice and file taxes
Turning a Chinese factory or seller into an operating entity that can sign, receive and reconcile inside the US market. Until this is in place, none of the next three stages can begin.
Most Chinese sellers are stuck at the same point: the goods exist, but there is no entity of their own in the United States. Without one, nobody can stand as importer to customs, no account can receive marketplace settlements, and nothing can be invoiced through a channel.
What Devtrans does at this stage is stand that entity up and make it actually work — not hand over a certificate of incorporation and stop, but leave it usable in the three stages that follow: nameable on customs paperwork, able to receive funds, and reconcilable.
What Devtrans does here
- Setting up the US operating entity and arranging its upkeep
- Coordinating the EIN and bank account
- Accounts, registrations and paperwork the sales channels require
- Mapping market-access requirements before the product ships: labelling, which certifications apply, and who has to issue them
What you need to have ready
- Company and product basics, and the category list
- The intended sales channels (own store, Amazon, offline distribution)
- Identification and authorisation for the responsible person
What this stage does not cover
We do not give US tax or legal advice. The choice of entity form, tax filing positions, trademarks and patents are conclusions for licensed accountants and attorneys; Devtrans runs the process and tells you which step needs whom.
