Logistics
Six directions out; the China–US lane run in house
Booking, trucking, export declaration, ocean and air, US clearance and final mile, overseas warehousing and direct fulfilment. Out of China we run to North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, West Asia and Africa; on the non-US lanes we take on the transport itself, with a local agent at the destination end. This has been Devtrans' backbone since 2005, and the China–US lane is the one stage of the four run entirely by our own teams.
The products here are organised by replenishment rhythm rather than by mode: express vessel or air when speed matters, standard vessel and truck-delivered when cost matters, overseas warehouse when stock has to sit close to the buyer, and the US-to-Mexico line for onward entry. The same customer moving between products across seasons is normal.
Sailings out of Ningbo, Shenzhen, Yiwu and Shanghai; clearance and delivery picked up by our Los Angeles and New York teams. AMS and ISF are filed by our own team — mentioned again here because it is simultaneously a logistics capability and part of the importer's responsibility.
On the freight layer the US is not the only destination we reach: out of Ningbo, Shenzhen, Yiwu and Shanghai we run to North America, South America, Europe, Southeast Asia, West Asia and Africa.
The depth has to be stated plainly, though, or the breadth is misleading. China–US is the main lane: arrival, clearance, the inland leg and the final mile are all executed by our own people in the United States. On the other five, what we take on is the transport itself, with a local agent handling the destination end. The difference is not capability but how this chain was built — trade setup, the importer position and supply chain finance were each assembled for the US market, and another destination would mean assembling them again. So we will ship the non-US lanes; just do not expect the other three stages to come with them. For freight like that, contact the port office and let them judge how the shipment is best routed.
